Commissions For You

Seconds Out and New Too is a boutique for ladies new and nearly new clothing and accessories. We will sell for you on a commission basis.

Items must be in a new or nearly new condition. They must be perfectly cleaned and pressed (buttons and zips must be intact) or a cleaning charge will apply.

Seconds Out and New Too reserves the right to withdraw any garment from display, which on further inspection fails to meet our high standards.

Items of clothing will be on sale for five weeks on the understanding that if they are not sold within 3 weeks, the price is reduced by one-third (unless stated at the time the garments are accepted).

If at the end of the 5 weeks items have not been sold or a collection date arranged, they will be offered to a local charity.

Clients will be paid the saleable price of the item less 50% commission. Whilst on our premises your clothing is not insured against loss or damage by theft, fire or any other means. It is a fundamental term of this agreement that all clothing left by you at our premises are left solely at your own risk and that no responsibility is accepted by us for any loss or damage to your clothing caused by whatever means. Insurance of any clothing left with us is entirely your own responsibility.

You will be asked to sign this when you leave items of clothing with us, stating that you have read and understood the agreement and also accept and abide by its terms.

Unfortunately we cannot telephone clients to say items have been sold or that items need to be collected; it is therefore the clients responsibility to contact us by telephone at the end of the five-week period to arrange a collection of any unsold goods.
